7600x vs 9800x3d

I'm running a 7600x with a 9060xt and 32gigs ram. My monitor is locked to 120 fps at 1440p.. All the games I play, 7d2d, icurus, planet crafter, no man's sky, space engineers 1+2 etc, all run at 120fps. I am thinking of future proofing my system with the 9800x3d before the prices on cpu's sky rocket like ram and storage. But would it be worth it since my games already run at 120fps?
