Night feels heavy even when I’m exhausted — anyone else?

Health

I’ve noticed something strange over the last .

Even when my body is completely exhausted, night still feels… heavy.

Not panic exactly.

Not racing thoughts all the time.

Just this sense that my body stays alert when everything else is quiet.

What surprised me is realizing it wasn’t really about sleep itself — it was about how unsafe night had quietly become in my body.

Once I stopped forcing rest and started understanding why my body reacted this way, things slowly softened.

I wrote about this recently, more as a reflection than advice.

In case it resonates with anyone, I’ll leave it here:

Would love to hear how night feels for you, especially when you’re already exhausted.

Does your body also stay “on” when the lights go out?
