Update: got too high pay rise

I posted on here about a month ago after getting a letter saying my salary was going up by £6k, which seemed a bit high for an inflationary pay rise.

Well I got paid yesterday and spoke to my manager, turns out the £6k was just a typo in the letter. My actual increase is only £1.5k

So yeah, a bit annoying but oh well
