I had a medicated abortion 3 days ago, and over the past 2 days my sex drive has been high but im nervous

Wednesday I underwent my first medicated abortion at home with my boyfriend, I was 6 weeks and it was extremely uncomfortable for me the day of, but afterwards I’ve felt normal, just some mild cramping occasionally.

I have, however, noticed that my sex drive has seemed to be put into overdrive. If I think about anything sex related, I get extremely turned on. My body craves sex to the point I get twitchy and anxious, last night while he was at work it got to the point I had to masturbate because it was unbearable. Is it the hormone that are causing this right now? Like because my body “lost” one pregnancy, is it essentially trying to make it to happen again? I’m also just nervous about having sex too soon after the abortion, and because I haven’t been able to get into my normal primary doctor yet to get my birth control re-figured so I’m scared of becoming pregnant again because I was told after an abortion it’s extremely easy for me to become pregnant again.
