What is South Norwood like?

Hi all,

I’m considering moving to South Norwood and wanted to get some honest opinions from people who know the area or live there.

I’ve seen very mixed views online some people say it’s up-and-coming and fine day-to-day, others say it can feel a bit rough. I’m mainly wondering about:

•	General safety (especially evenings)

•	What the vibe is like day to day

•	Any streets/areas to avoid vs nicer pockets (country park)

•	How it compares to places nearby

Not expecting perfection, just trying to get a realistic picture rather than estate agent spin. Would be great to hear from locals or recent movers.
