Not sure if i am experiencing hives or something else?

Hello! I'm not sure how to describe this as I'm not often on this subreddit. In the last 2 or 3 weeks I've noticed lots of patches of red skin that almost feels like a burn?

I am 20, female, and the only medication i regularly take is rigevidon birth control. Just in case that is relevant.

These patches are all over body, the skin is dry, but not cracking. They are on my back, legs, arms, absolutely everywhere. They dont hurt, they don't particularly itch, they aren't very swollen. Just there on my skin.

I get more every day, i tried Allevia Hives tablets but i think those were just to relieve itching. I've never known to be allergic to anything, aside from potentially oranges, but i have stayed away from them. i wasn't introduced to anything new when they started either.

I've moved environments since they started and they've not changed. I have washed all my clothes and sheets, dusted, hoovered, cleaned absolutely everything. And im not having any other allergy symptoms that im aware of?

I am honestly at a loss on what to do, i know that sometimes hives last 6 weeks but i would hate to wait that time and it turns out its something that needs immediate treatment? Also they make me feel gross and I've been a bit embarrassed to leave the house without being fully covered up. Im dreading going to uni with these.

Im just wondering if this is actually hives, or something else? Any advice would mean the world to me!
