Trend T4ELK 850W router

Does anyone here have the above router? It's kinda right in my price range (in UK), and I'm thinking of replacing my cheap, cordless palm router with it. It's only being used in the workshop, so it being corded isn't really an issue.

Is this just a glorified palm router with a plunge base instead of the usual bases that come with most palm routers?

My current one really is the most basic of models. Cheap Chinese no name model, cheap battery availability, single speed, no soft start. On a bit of a tight budget, and really do not like buying power tools secondhand, (or anything tool related secondhand).
