[Paid] [Godot] Solo Dev seeking Pixel Artist for Gameboy-inspired RPG
I am a solo developer working in Godot on a passion project that combines my two favorite Game Boy Color childhood memories: the creature collecting/battling of Pokémon Gold/Silver and the action-adventure exploration of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages.
I have been working hard on the backend and mechanics, but I need an artist to help bring the visual identity to life
I am looking for a Pixel Artist who understands the charm and aesthetic of these classic games (or a modernized version of it). I need the following:
- Characters: Top-down overworld sprites (Pokemon/Zelda style).
- Detailed Full Body Character Sprites (used in battle and for dialogue)
- Monsters: Full designs including Front Sprites and Back Sprites (for the battle view).
- Monster Attack Animations
- Tilesets (Outdoor biomes, Dungeons, Interiors).
- UI/Items: Icons and UI frames.
- Interactables (Whatever comes to mind)
I am a solo developer doing this as a hobby, so while I am willing to pay, I am working with a "hobbyist budget" rather than a commercial studio budget. Ideally, I’d like a long-term collaboration where we can work together regularly as the project evolves.
