Avoiding plastic skin
Hi! I just picked up a Fuji X-Pro1 and I’m loving it so far. I was wondering if anyone here has tips for avoiding that “plastic” skin look when shooting people in JPEG with this camera.
I’ve read a bit about staying under ISO 1600, or keeping it raw, but I’d really love to hear from people with hands-on experience. If you have any go-to settings or a film-sim/recipe that works well for skin tones on the X-Pro1, I’m all ears.
