Trying alcohol for the first time tonight. Suggestions please

I(M22) am gonna try alcohol for the first time tonight. As tomorrow is Sunday I thought let's try today. I will try it alone and I got a bottle of bro code supreme. How should I consume it, should I eat something along or not? I have never tried alcohol before in my life. Please suggest
