NSF Levy Calculation

Hi, I am trying to understand the NSF levy calculation in Mauritius. It says it is 1% monthly capped at Rs 28,570.

If someone earns say Rs 50,000 per month, is the levy

A) 1% of 28,570 = 285.70 per month?

Or

B) 1% of 50,000 = 500 per month?

This is a bit confusing and looking to understand the math properly.
