Just found a legal way to watch old Viva movies for free

I was honestly just looking for a way to watch some old Pinoy comedies without dealing with those cancer-inducing pop-up sites, and I stumbled on this "FunTV" section on MegaFUNalo. I think it’s a gaming site from the Solaire group, but they have a random library of Viva films you can stream for free.

I ended up re-watching Moron 5.2: The Transformation last night. It’s definitely a "check your brain at the door" type of movie, but man, it was a nostalgia trip. It’s the sequel where the original cast (Luis, Billy, Marvin, DJ) are now dads.

The funniest bit for me: They replaced Mart Escudero with Matteo Guidicelli, and they actually wrote it into the plot, like, he got burned by kerosene and the plastic surgery "accidentally" made him look like Matteo. Peak Pinoy comedy logic. The whole plot is just them trying to be superheroes because their kids are literally embarrassed to be related to them.

If you guys need a laugh or just want to see John Lapus (Beckie Pamintuan) being absolutely unhinged again, it’s worth a look. Has anyone else used this site? Let me know if there are other hidden gems in their catalog.
