Price for a sick note in Ontario

Travelling to Toronto for work and I got a stomach bug and needed to get a doctor's note for work today. What do doctor's typically charge for doctor's note in Ontario. My doctor was charging me around $35 bucks, but thought it should be covered by OHIP. Google told me it was $25 to $50+ so I paid it anyways, but did i pay too much?
