Help me decide which to keep.

Ideally this laptop will last me 5+ years I work in stem and often do demanding tasks in arc gis and other memory heavy sfotwares. Also do a bit of gaming on the side, am leaning towards the cheaper model but am having a hard time deciding if the price diffrence will make a big diffrence in terms of longevity.
