Help my mom with her confidence?

My mom is struggling with makeup and her confidence always chips away whenever she tries it. It never looks quite right. She's tried four different sheer foundations and they're all patchy. One of them was the clinique moisture surge sheer tint hydrator. She has rosacea so her cheeks are overly lucky and she hates it. Any product suggestions? She doesn't dermaplane or anything and regularly moisturizes. She also tends to use more warm tones eyeshadow, lipsticks ect. I don't know how to do makeup either and I'm also a completely different skin color and undertone. I just can't stand her crying because she doesn't feel pretty on her date nights.
