Deadline Soon: Prestigious AI Research Conference in NYC
I wanted to share an opportunity I found that may be helpful for folks doing AI-related research:
The Asian American Scholar Forum (AASF) is currently accepting student poster submissions for its AIX Summit, happening April 17, 2026 in NYC. They're looking for work from high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, including both published and unpublished research in AI or AI-related fields. Submission is free.
Selected presenters will receive subsidized conference registration and free, one-on-one mentorship from professors at top schools like Princeton and Columbia, as well as the opportunity to present their research to an audience of industry leaders.
In addition to the research symposium, AIX will also feature many networking and panel discussions, featuring people like Yann Lecun (inventor of convolutional neural networks, professor at NYU, and Turing Awardee), Deepak Agarwal (Cheif AI Officer at LinkedIn), and Andrew Lo (director of MIT's Financial Engineering Lab and professor at MIT Sloan).
The deadline for poster submissions is February 17th, which is very soon. If you're interested, research can be submitted here:
