Question about Midway Car Rentals at LAX?

Hello folks! I will be in town visiting next month for about a week.

After comparing prices, Midway has the best rates and really good reviews from what I can tell. Planning on reserving with them this evening, but I had a quick question I was hoping to find an answer to!

I've only ever booked rental cars through Hertz or Enterprise and I have had issues in the past with those bigger chain rental agencies and their authorization holds. In my experience, Enterprise can take up to a month to release the hold. Really trying to avoid having my money held up that long again.

That being said, does anyone have any experiences with Midway and can tell me what the average release time was for the authorization hold? I called them and they said 3-10 business days, but that is also what other agencies have told me and then it ends up being held up for nearly a month.

Hoping to hear some firsthand experiences and general estimates of how long it took for the hold to be released back! Thanks in advance!
