How would you spend 48 hours in DFW?

My wife and I are going on an adventure next weekend and spending 48 hours in the DFW (we arrive Saturday afternoon and we depart Monday afternoon). What would be your itinerary for someone who has never been to the area that includes lots of bbq? We know its not enough time to scratch the surface, but we have a long weekend and decided to go somewhere we've never been. We will have a car while visiting so we can drive anywhere.
