Algorithm really frustrates me

Harvested coins all day so I could have a nice relaxing play of solitaire tonight and win a few levels..only to spend 28k coins on one level...and mostly losing with just one card left. So frustrating and takes the fun out of it completely! And why are gold cards SO EXPENSIVE!? Jusr ranting.
