I want to go Volvo so bad, but…

Hey everyone, I’ve been eyeing down a 2022.5 S60 T8 CPO at a very fair price and it checks every box EXCEPT the reliable peace of mind….

For context, cost of ownership is not a worry but possible expensive fixes are. Seems like this model year has just about the best mix of options (sensus system, 3rd Gen ERAD, etc.) for a lower chance of high cost issues, but anywhere on the internet, you can find plenty of people griping about bigger issues. What I’m trying to figure out is, how common are these issues? 1 in 10? 1 out of a 1000? I want to join the Volvo community as I am in love with the car, but terrified of a luxury investment becoming a money pit. (Yes I know it isn’t a Camry.)

Granted, I know this question can’t be accurately answered but anyone out there who could attempt to quantify it, I would appreciate beyond comprehension.
