Questions for dlc

Im doing a ng+ run where Clive only has abilities he would have in the game at that time. However, I want to use Ultima for as long as possible. What do you think is the earliest Clive would realistically have been given Ultima’s powers? I was thinking maybe just after unlocking the origin but pre both dlcs.
