In your eyes, what are values that make human art superior to prompts and AI outputs?
I'm at the beginning of writing a thesis about this - most of the time I see arguments that are simple and commonly understood, but their simplicity makes them easy to counter. Examples are:
-
"It's the intention/ cultural significance/ emotion → the prompter can have it too"
-
"It's the human process → genAI is based on human-made work/ the process is usually unseen by the audience or undocumented"
-
"It's spiritual/ a part of human soul → that's not proven by anything/ this is a different genre of art"
So, how do YOU see it, in a way that you're able to explain?
