Is it weird that I'm not inclined to interact with other players while doing solo raids?

So much of the discussion around this game seems to be around interacting with other gamers in voice chat. I just don't really feel like doing so; when I'm on solo raids I just focus on my objectives and so don't want to play the whole trust/betrayal game that seems to be so prevalent.

Is this pretty abnormal? Will I miss out on advancement/achievement opportunities if this is how I operate? Really curious to hear thoughts
