What are some marketable skills that will help me in my job search?

28 yrs old and based in Florida. Got laid off from my big tech position this past week. I was looking through job listings and all of them have at least one qualification that I don't meet. I have a Juris Doctor and I passed the Florida Bar, but have no legal experience whatsoever. I majored in political science and minored in sociology in undergrad. I'm a writer, so I was thinking I could write articles or something but then the minimum qualifications are like, "must have 5-7 years experience in writing for major news outlets" or something crazy like that. I wanted to learn Python and failed miserably (no good at coding). I refuse to waste more money on useless degrees. I'm even willing to work for free (temporarily) if it means getting valuable training and experience. PLS help a girl out!
