Desktop app for Windows 11 bug -> unable to paste images as attachments after a few usages, what's the deal?

This started a few months ago and it's highly irritating. Basically if I see something on the web or in another channel and I right click -> copy image to throw it into my clipboard, then go to another channel and hit "paste" about 80% of the time it will not work, I have to restart the app completely killing it from the task bar and then it will work fine for about 3-4 more times until it has to be restarted again. The hell is going on here?
