Dad’s age & name change
Hello! My dad and grandparents were born in Quebec. My dad moved to the US and changed his name (no name change record can be found) and then had me at the ripe age of 52. I’m nervous that my application won’t be convincing enough of my child-parent relationship to him because of his age and that his first name is different on my birth certificate. Here are the records I have:
-Father’s baptismal certificate (2 diff kinds) (born before birth certificates)
-Father’s personal history records from US Airforce (has former and later of his first names listed and his grandparents names listed)
-Father’s death certificate
-Grandmother’s baptismal certificate
-Grandmother’s census record (2)
-Grandfather’s census record
-Grandparents marriage certificate
-my baptismal certificate
-my birth certificate
Should this be enough? My grandfathers birth certificate is unfound (I tried ancestry and drouin) and his death certificate is unfound (he was on deathrow at Bordeaux Prison).
Should I include my parents marriage certificate or any other evidence that he was my father?
Thanks for all the help!
