M1 Macbook Air display issue

I have an ongoing issue with my M1 Macbook Air when the ambient temperature is below 65 degrees F, I get horizontal lines on the screen. Whenever I get the laptop up to 66-75 degrees F, the lines go away completely and the computer acts as if nothing is wrong. However, when cold, I have performance issues, etc which makes me believe that it's not just the screen. I've been told there is a known issue with this, but with all of the Google searching I've done, it doesn't seem like my issue is the same as others, as what I experience only changes with temperature.
