So much pain - what should I do?

35F, 5ft2, 61kgs.

I’m having really bad pain under both ribs and in between the ribs but the pain is mostly deep under my left rib. I had my gallbladder taken out November 25.

I had diarrhoea this morning (it’s 11pm here now) and took loperamide and it has since subsided but I was woken about an hour ago with really bad pain under my ribs. I’ve been sick a little bit and it hasn’t helped. I had taken co codomol about 3 hours ago as I had pain but nothing as bad as it is now.

What could be the cause? I’m in the UK so I don’t want to waste A&E resources but if co-codomol hasn’t touched it and I’m meant to be on a 12 hour shift tomorrow, what do I do?
