Prior year return (2023)

Hey so I went to a vita site today to file my prior year(2023) taxes we finished everything up they told me my federal return was 4500 an state was 2300 such a blessing I found out I could get a refund for that year when they where trying to send me a email portal link it wasn’t working so they went to their supervisor an they told them that the irs hasn’t opened for prior year returns so does anyone know when they will be accepting them super bummed out I did a couple searches an see it says they’ve been accepting efiling for 2023 since Jan 29th does anyone have any idea when they’ll be able to send my return or where I can efile myself online thank in advanced!
