A reminder - always be diligent about checking all of your casting pages regularly, even if you haven’t received a notice from your agent

A while back, my agent reached out to me about a commercial project they were trying to submit for. A client was looking for actors with a very specific and particular work/job skill set, which it just so happened I was a perfect fit for. I told them submit me away. Great! The job also was one of the largest paying jobs I’ve seen in years. And then I never heard anything again. No biggie, Happens. Today I logged into one of my casting sites and I was scrolling through past auditions looking for something and lo and behold, I did receive an audition request for that specific commercial project and I completely missed it. I must’ve been slacking that week and not checked the site, and no one from the agency ever sent me a notice that I had received an audition. Not on them at all, my fault. And an audition in no way means a callback, let alone a booking, but I’ve booked over 40 commercials and this particular one was basically looking exactly for me and was a personal invite from a CD I’ve booked with several times. Oh well oh well oh well…….😖
