Costume code issue

I was inputting the codes to get the event costumes and a bit of the way through the game started stuttering. I've seen that happen before when I'm in the customization menu so I didn't think much of it. I entered the rest of the costume codes and then restarted the game only to find out that none of the costumes actually claimed and when I tried to input one of the codes again it said it's already been used. Has anyone else run into this issue and if so did you get the costumes?
