Men's swim shirts ? That compress chest?

I'm overweight and in physical therapy for surgery I had this summer. My dr keeps urging my to switch to a pt place that has swimming. I'm so self conscious of my body, specifically my chest that I can't do it without having a massive panic attack. PTSD sucks ! Anyone use them and could make a

recommendation on what one would compress a bit and hopefully get me into the water ?
