I just have to be doing something wrong. I want to like this game. Any help super appreciated.

So ive only seen the 2nd boss once. I have 14 hours time played.

First area/act i maybe have enough time to get around 8ish of my main stats (solo ive been playing the melee warrior) and i sprint everywhere and try to use the flower boosts when convenient. I only go for the 2/3 skull gold pillars and only spend my gold on the bigger chests or the carnival guy to stack the good items. Is it even possible to get all your main stat buffs from the camps before night 3? I feel like everything is soooo far away and 90% of the game is travel time running around. Also i feel like i waste alot of time running the mobs down as they dance around all over.

As melee when he does that fire barage ability i cant even really attack him bc he only stands in the fire until i kite him out if he decides to follow me.

Ive played with 2 others and we go either 3 mages or 2 mages and the warrior so we can spread the items between physical and magic damage and we've only seen the 2nd boss twice.

I just feel like im missing somehting huge here. I know its not a skill issue, ive been playing games for 20+ years all kinds and good with reaction time.

I can provide any other information if needed on what i could be doing wrong.
