Furano Ski Resort

Has anyone been to the Furano ski resort recently? I went from the 11-15th of Jan and there were virtually no people around. Barely queues and there were times where I didn’t see people around for minutes. Does anyone know if Furano’s resort is usually this empty, because for how good the place is I might go back in the future if it’s this empty.
