What "common sense” etiquette exists in your world? Looking for small, immersive details.
One our favourite parts of world-building isn't the grand wars or the magic systems—it’s the social "rules" that everyone just knows.
In our current setting (traditional D&D-style fantasy), we’ve moved away from the "medieval slog." Magic has made contraception and STI protection cheap, reliable, and available basically everywhere. Because of that, the culture is very sex-positive and casual encounters are the norm.
However, even in a world of casual fun, manners still matter. A big piece of etiquette in our world is that it’s considered incredibly rude for male-bodied folks to finish inside without checking first. The standard polite move is to pull out or ask, "Where do you want it?" right before the finish. It’s a small bit of bodily autonomy that has become a hard social rule.
What are the "little things" in your world that people do to be polite or proper?
