New player (Need Advice)

It is going on my 3rd day of playing, I have been using the free blaziken deck to blitz through the solo battles and now I have over 1k hour glasses. I have been using my dailies on the Genetic Apex packs for some of the trainers and ex cards. What would you recommend spending these hour glasses on, im not a card collector. I want to battle and want to do this efficiently seeing the ex deluxe expired.
