My first (failed) Rage Baiter encounter

i'm still cackling over this.

yesterday, i encountered a fail rage baiter Vecna.

he spent a solid 10 minutes trying to slug. when he finally slugged someone, he camped their body in his little void blob form. when i'd go in to revive the slugged player, he'd use Underground to try and down me... but he was so terrible at it that i kept getting away.

finally, he decided enough was enough and he decided to chase me. i'm a decent killer, but i'm an awful survivor, so i'm easy to catch... and yet, somehow, he missed every shot in every loop. we went at this for, like, 3 minutes.

finally, he manages to slug me and another player. he camps us. instead of just sitting there like bait, we decided to crawl to different sides of the map. we kept managing to get back up (thanks to our last survivor standing) and he'd have to try all over again.

we abandoned the idea of victory and decided to be petty instead. our last surv standing hid while me and the slugged surv crawled over each other like weirdos. when i finally bled out, i decided to go into chat.

i genuinely thought maybe, just maybe, this Vecna was just god awful at the game, so i kindly offered advice if they needed it.

once the match was over, they said "gg ez win nerds" and that's when i realized they were, in fact, trying to rage bait.

they were so bad at rage baiting that i thought they just didn't know how to play.

instead of being angry, i'm left chuckling. my fiancé also got a good laugh out of it when i told him.
