zv6 vs zv7

I'm currently reaching mechanical bottom on my zv6 12. Does the zv7 travel more without bottoming out? It does have more xmax and i saw a video where the zv7 literally was flattening out the surround which is crazy. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRud4vPjcuo/
