Legacy Hornet at 14.0 with Super at 14.3?

I used to work on Legacy Hornets IRL (F/A-18 C/Ds), so they have a special place in my heart. I was saddened to learn that the C/Ds sit at 14.0, especially when the Supers sit at 14.3. The logic provided for a 14.0 BR in most match chats is "10 Aim-120s", however the F-15MISP has better everything and sits at a lower BR (2 missiles fewer but has much more performance and survivability [speed, CM] at 13.7).

The Legacy Hornets (C/D) at 14.0 are so outclassed that I cannot bring myself to play them even tho the speculation of their addition is why I actually started playing WT seriously in the first place.

I noticed that the ranks/cards are going to move, but with the recent change to the F-15A, even the F/A-18c Early (12.7) has fallen further behind in usefulness. I don't want to harp on other platforms, but the Mirage and Sukhoi spam makes using a Hornet a fool's errand. I am only about a 1.5yrs into WT, so hopefully players who have seen changes or dealt with BR Blackholes can comment.

I really don't think an extra 2 AIM-120s on the C Late is deserving of a higher BR compared to the F-15A, especially when the Hornet family is brutally outclassed by other...more favorite....platforms.

The Hornets look great (I have my unit color bird skin on!) and are easy to fly, but they are so slow and have such comparatively outdated radar sets that not even the correct implementation of an ALN-47 CM set would make them worth taking out. They look great in the hangar; I just wish they could compete more wholly with the jets they face.

This is not a Hornet issue, as the 12.3 F/A-18A is amazing, and when I get downtiers in my 12.7 F/A-18C Early, it is a sublime experience...but the F-15As and Sukhois have made them utterly insane to attempt to fly and hopefully this changes.

This is not to say that I am incapable with them; I normally get at least 1 frag per game, but it is a constant slog the entire way, even in games that are not harsh up-tiers. Does anyone have any idea why this is or if this will change? 14.0 for a Legacy Hornet, while the Super sits at 14.3, is brutal and unnecessary.
