Medical negligence landed me in the ER, if I hadnt of gone i wouldve gotten Sepsis.
I recently went to urgent care for a suspected UTI. Everything was fine and good! Except for the fact that they completely neglected to see if I had a kidney infection or not. I walked into the room feverish, shivering, and with serious chills. "Oh, just a minor UTI!" they said, but it ended up being a kidney infection that would've gave me sepsis if i didn't go. My only symptom this morning was the fact that I threw up because I couldn't eat anything. WTF. How can stuff like this be so normalized? If i hadn't of gone, i could've DIED. I barely had any back pain (lets hope that means its a mild infection) I have a hard time trusting the medication they gave me will actually work now. Not to mention I have pretty severe health anxiety. I hate this
