Polarizing Lens Recommendation

My bf has the NikonD3000 which he mainly uses for landscape and nature photos. For our anniversary I wanted to buy him a nice lens. He’s mentioned wanting a variety polarizing lens. But I just don’t know what is the best out there (that’s no more than $150 if possible) since I’m not a huge camera fanatic. If anybody could help, thank you!
