F-1 Visa Revoked
My friends were pulled over in Orlando on Dec.21st. They are a wife and husband, both on F-1 Visas, and in the middle of their PhD studies. He was falsely arrested, detained for a few hours, and then let go. Never told what the charge was or why he was being detained. A month later, the court cleared him, finding he had been falsely arrested. Now, 2 weeks later, he received a notification that his F-1 Visa had been revoked. What does that mean for him? How can he fight back and regain his visa status? They have a newborn and are both at the top of their classes.
