Kenmore Freezer making "puglike" panting/snorting sounds. Not freezing.

My large Kenmore freezer is making scratching or snorting or panting sounds, I don't know what even to call it.

Stuff in it isn't freezing, and I've noticed throughout the past few days that it wasn't freezing everything properly when it was working and wasn't making a sound.

Is there a fix to it or is it kaput.
