Clogged bathroom sink

Last night my bathroom sink clogged completely. About 4 days ago it had been draining slowly, so I used some draino and hot water which seemed to solve it until last night.

So far I have removed the p trap and there is no clog in the drain until the p trap, and no clog in the p trap. Tried plunging as well. I used a 3ft drill snake between the wall and the clear out (not sure the exact name, the pipe with the big 1" nut on top). No clog. So I removed the clear out cap and lo and behold there is standing water. I used my 3ft drill snake again and it went freely down no resistance, but no drainage.

Is my next step a 25ft auger rental? Am I missing something obvious? Could this be a vacuum issue, where my roof vent is clogged/frozen or something? FWIW, this drain is the highest in my home, and everything other drain in the house (including the toilet and tub in this same bathroom) are draining fine.

Thank you in advance for any help
