Nursing student here! Question: why are all nurses so unhelpful and negative whenever we ask a question?

For instance: Saying things like “if you’re only going to do nursing for ____, then don’t even do it” or “if you don’t like nursing then don’t even do it because we already have too many nurses” like as if we know what nursing will be like early on in our education or before we start nursing school lmao. There’s no way for us to really know unless we ask YALL. But yall be weird with your answers, just gross behavior. It seems like you guys have a hard time answering questions about nursing as well.. almost like there is jealousy or worry, or gatekeeping involved. We as students or future students mostly receive very avoidant answers, and all nurses do is say the bad parts about being a nurse to try to steer us away. I’ve only ever seen nurses say negative things to future nurses on Reddit, TikTok, etc.
