DO NOT WORK FOR GRIFFIN!!

Former Employee Review – Griffin Armament – AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I worked at Griffin Armament and escaped what can only be described as a nightmare workplace. Do not apply here. The interview sales pitch is pure deception—flashy perks like a gym and climbing wall are dangled to lure people in, but the reality is a toxic, exploitative environment run by unaccountable leadership that treats employees like disposable tools.

The so-called “bonus program” is a blatant scam. Ownership and management dangle it as a major part of your pay, then arbitrarily yank it away for any petty reason they invent—calling people “shit bags” or worse. Even claiming employees take too many bathroom breaks. Profits are hidden, manipulated, or outright misrepresented to ensure bonuses rarely materialize. Zero transparency, zero fairness.

There is no paid sick leave—none. If you’re sick, you still have to drag yourself in or cough up money for a doctor’s note just to avoid punishment. It’s punitive and heartless.

Management is a disaster: disorganized, vindictive, and utterly lacking in accountability. They steal employee ideas, claim them as their own, then scapegoat staff when their own stupid decisions blow up. Policies get rewritten on a whim—retroactively screwing people out of holiday pay or time off after the fact—to save the company a buck.

The culture is outright hostile and unprofessional. Owners and upper management routinely blast out company-wide emails and make verbal comments that are sexist, racist, discriminatory, sexually harassing, and downright disturbing—including explicit talk of sexual acts involving employees and grooming minors. These aren’t one-offs; they’re normalized from the top. It’s a hostile work environment in the literal legal sense.

HR is a complete joke—a rude gatekeeper who protects the bosses, not the employees. Complain about anything serious (especially involving ownership)? Expect swift retaliation, termination, and then fabricated stories to block your unemployment. Veterans get extra humiliation: hand over your DD-214, then endure trash-talking about your service like you’re inferior.

Raises? Forget it. Even promised ones in your offer letter require endless battles. New hires routinely start higher than long-timers, breeding massive resentment and turnover.

This place chews people up, spits them out, and smears them on the way out. High turnover isn’t a bug—it’s the feature. The few minor perks (discounts, occasional flexibility) are meaningless compared to the daily toxicity, manipulation, and lack of basic decency.

Run the other way. This is not a company—it’s a cautionary tale. Talk to ex-employees (the many who have fled) before you even consider interviewing. You have been warned.
