What’s your go-to beach item that actually does three things at once?

Hey r/beach - I’m doing some warm-weather trip planning and trying to pack smarter, not harder. I’ve been thinking about what I actually use vs. what just takes up space in my bag.

One thing I’ve landed on is a large lightweight sarong. It sounds simple, but I’ve used mine as:

A quick dry-off towel

A sun cover-up when I’ve had enough rays

A clean spot to sit (sand just shakes off)

I’m curious: what’s your favorite multi-use beach item? Do you have something that does double (or triple) duty?

I found my current one a while back from saronghut.com/- it’s held up surprisingly well, but I’m always open to recommendations if you have a brand you swear by.

What’s in your beach bag that you couldn’t do without?
