[A4A] Your Adoptive Human {Mother/Father} needs to talk to you [Elf Listener] [Aging issues] [Comfort] [Child Listener] [Little elf Remake] [Part 1]
Word count: 1906
Welcome people to a brand new script! This time, I wanted to remake my very first script ever! I still have three more projects to do, including the third part for the Crimson Crescent, a secret valentine's day script and a brand new script with an ascended god listener!
But for now, welcome to the little elf series! Where a human parent adopts an elven listener. I hope you enjoy this remake. I will finish this series this time. Thanks a lot to u/Kansai_Lai by the way for having me write this remake! I don't have much else to say, so I'll leave you with the links and rules!
But before that, I'd like to say there's a small ASMR directory that's been working on called ASMRchives. I heavily suggest you check the link to my ASMRchives post, and if you like to, follow my profile there! I'd really appreciate it!

(Text within parentheses are meant to describe how a sentence is spoken)
“Text within quotes will be placeholders, such as names you can choose yourself”
{Text between these brackets are gendered language, change it as you please. However, in this script, if you, the performer, is female, use Ceres when it appears, and if you’re male, use Caine.}
I may write (normal) in the same line to describe a change from a specific expression back to your usual speech pattern.

Ceres/Caine will appear in later chapters of the story. If you don’t like the names of these characters, by all means change them! The mother will only appear for a few chapters, and then Ceres/Caine will take the role! Just warning ya if you want to try making a different voice!

Summary for the listener: It’s been twenty seven years since your loving {Mother/Father} came into your life. For a human, that would be enough to start a life. To move out. To get married. Unfortunately, you’re a slow aging elf, and the other kids make sure to remind you every single time. You hate it. Fortunately, your {Mom/Dad} is here, to show you the true wonders of your species, and wipe your tears away.

[Steps and a small knock on the door]
(Worried) Uhm… sweetie? Are you still awake? You haven’t run away today, have you?
Okay, that’s good. Phew… (Small pause) Can I come to your bedroom? I just want to talk about a few things with you. Important things.
(Trying to cheer listener up) Nothing bad, I promise! You’re not in trouble. I’ll just… I’ll sit down. Here, right next to you on your bed. If you want me to leave you alone, please tell me. I promise I won’t get mad.
(Sigh)
I’ve noticed some… worrying things lately. If it’s just me being paranoid, it’d be a relief but… You’ve been a little bit… under the weather lately.
Is there anything you need to talk about? I’ve been watching you playing with your friends. It seemed more like they were playing with you though...
Are they bothering you? Because I swear, if they are, I’ll be having a long talk with their parents. They should learn to respect their elders…
No sweetie, I didn’t mean it like that. I wasn’t making fun of your age. Your mama would never, ever do that. I just see your face when you come back and…
You know you don’t need to be with them if you don’t like them, right?
[Listener asks what am I supposed to do then]
Well, you can play with your other friends! I’m sure they won’t mind. Like {Ceres/Caine}, she was your best friend, wasn’t she?
I still remember you two trying to climb that tree on the outskirts. Why don’t you go check up on her tomorrow?
Yeah, I know {she has a boyfriend/he has a girlfriend}, but you are still friends, right? I mean, {she wanted you to go meet him/he wanted you to go meet her}, didn’t {she/he}?
[Listener tells Speaker {Ceres/Caine} told them they’d marry listener]
(A little bit struck) What? Marry you? Oh, sweetie. Come here please. Let me give you a hug.
I understand. It hurts. The fact she told you she’d marry you when you’re older… I’m so sorry, my child.
I promise- no, I swear- one day you’ll find your soulmate. It might take… a while, but you need to keep searching.
Don’t ever give up. Promise you’ll never give up.
(Reassuring)Better? You can tell me anything you want. As long as I’m alive, I promise I’ll try my best to solve all your problems. I made that promise twenty seven years ago, and I’ve yet to break it.
[Listener snuggles a bit closer, rubbing their head against Speaker’s clothes]
(Giggle) I love how your pointed ears feel against my chest.
What? No! Of course you’re not slow. I’m telling you the truth! Where does this… come from? Did they call you that?
(Sigh) I know it must be hard, dear. To see the other children become faster, stronger, and smarter than you. At a pace you can barely perceive. This is just how humans are. But that doesn’t make you slow. If that was true, you wouldn’t be jumping and running around at 5 am every night.
(Slight giggle)You think I couldn’t hear you? Did you forget your {Mommy/Daddy} was an adventurer before {She/He} found you?
I used to hear anything sneaking up on me back in my adventuring days. The tiniest of steps, and the quietest of voices, including your cries when you were thiiiis tall.
(slightly playful) Oh my! My little elf is seeking knowledge aren’t they? Well… I was thinking of waiting until you get a little bit older, but you're clearly mature enough now.
You have to promise me one thing though. No matter what I tell you, don’t cry. Seeing tears run down your face is the worst of my pains.
[Listener nods]
Thank you, my child. Remember, breaking a promise is a hundred years of bad luck.
[Listener says they double promise]
(Giggles) Okay, okay, I get it, you double promise. Let me tell you the tale of how I found the light of my life, you.
You see, {Mommy/Daddy} didn’t have the best life. Adventurers tend to have it rough. But that’s a story for another day. I hopped between parties like a squirrel searching for nuts at different trees. It took me five years to find the right group of adventurers, and another five to master our skills.
We were indomitable, invincible, inseparable… or so we thought. We were powerful enough to think we could defeat a dragon on our own, so when a mission to take one down appeared on the quest board, we didn’t think twice.
The reward was pretty good, too. If we completed two or three missions like these, each one of us could live comfortably for a hundred years to come. But none of us wanted to retire, no no, we had a big ego, bigger than the dragon we were going up against. And trust me, that thing was huge.
Remember that Wyvern skeleton at the museum? That dragon was at least twice as big! Maybe even bigger.
(Teasing)And you thought they were huge already. You’d be surprised, my little elf. But size never intimidated any of us.
(Soothing)We were brave, and so, we searched for the beast for days… weeks. I think we spent a month looking for it. It was spotted burning down a village one day, flying to gods know where the next. But after giving up hope of catching up to it, almost by pure coincidence, a miracle happened.
The big bad dragon loomed in the horizon, burning down a secluded elven village and everyone in it. We were the good guys, so we couldn’t let that happen. We jumped into the battle, my sword and shield ready to give and take any hit, the paladin readying his spells to protect us from the flames and smite the beast. The ranger preparing a shot to go straight through its right eye. And the bard [Nostalgic laugh]...
[Listener asks why Speaker is laughing]
Hm? Nothing, nothing, I just remembered some of her jokes, that pesky little elf.
Yes, sweetie, she was also an elf, just like you.
[Listener asks if they can meet her]
[Sorrowful] No… I’m afraid you can’t meet her. You’ll understand when my tale is over.
You see, that dragon was strong. Stronger than we thought. We couldn’t run away. We bit more than we could chew, and so, our party fell one by one…
But we didn’t give up. We couldn’t. It was wounded, as much, or even more, than we were. We thought we could keep up- just a few more hits and we’ll beat the big bad dragon. Your {Mama/Papa} slashed at its belly with {her/his} sword, and the beast yelled its last roar.
(Nostalgic) We won, we defeated the evil monster, but when I looked back, I realized I was the only one left. I wanted to break down and cry, but someone beat me to that.
(Soothing and cooing) A certain little elf’s voice reached my ears. I thought my body couldn’t move after that, but someone was in danger. I was the only one around, so I ran and ran and ran, with all my strength.
When I reached that little voice, through all the dragonfire, I saw them, a cute small newborn elf, and beside them… (Mournful) No, I don’t think I should tell you that.
Huh? Nothing! Don’t worry about it. Shhhh, I’m almost done with the story.
I took that little elf with me, carried them in my arms so far… so so far, I couldn’t walk anymore. The people at the guild gave {Mom/Dad} a lot of gold as reward. We were planning on splitting it, but now I had it all, and… (mournful) nothing at the same time.
I had to make the toughest decision in my whole life, and sold almost everything I owned. I moved to this village, and, in the end, I bought this cozy home with what I earned from that mission. A nice, gentle house in a village far away from any possible danger, to raise and take care of that lonely elf, and maybe, hopefully, make them feel loved.
[Little giggle] Well, who do you think that elf was?
(happy) That’s right, It was you, sweetie. I wanted you to live a life full of joy and wonder, for as long as I’m alive.
I’m glad I lived to see you grow, even if it’s… a little bit less than the rest. What for you is just your childhood, for us is our whole lives.
I know that can be hard to wrap your head around.. It's hard for me too, but if I could, I’d take care of you for a hundred years and more.
You see, us humans are… like blades of grass. Bright, sharp, and fast growing, but, unlike elves, we don’t last very long.
You’re a tree that’s barely sprouting. You’ll grow slower than us, and you’ll see a thousand blades of grass as you grow, even if most of them will be gone by the time you’ve grown your first branches.
But I promise, sweetie, that is not a curse. It’s a great blessing. You’ll see such wonderful sights. You’ll be there to witness history. And while it may take you a little bit longer to do what I do, you’ll have centuries to master whatever skill you like the most. If you want to be an archer, by the time you’re two hundred you will hit any target, no matter how far away it is. If you want to be a baker, you’ll sell the most delicious pastry this kingdom has ever seen. And if you want to become a fighter just like {Mommy/Daddy}... I’ll let you have my sword. That way, when you look into its silvery reflection, you’ll see my image, and remember that, no matter where you are, I’ll always be with you.
[Listener is confused]
[Nostalgic giggle] You really paid attention to my story huh? Yes sweetie, I sold almost everything I had, but that sword- my sword- is a reminder of my past, of what I was. Of my party members, and of the day I met you. Do you want me to show you what it looks like?
(Soft and sweet) Okay. But we’ll have to wait until tomorrow. [Yawn] {Mommy/Daddy}’s got to get a good night’s sleep, our crops aren’t gonna take care of themselves. And you should be meditating by half an hour ago. [Giggle] I know, I called you here, I told you you’re not in trouble, (Teasing) but you might be if I catch you awake in the next thirty seconds.
[Sounds of listener tucking themselves into bed quickly]
Well well well. Since you’ve been so good lately, we’ll go visit {Ceres/Caine} tomorrow, I’m sure she’s dying to see you again.
Is that a smile on your face I see? You really are excited to check up on {her/him}, aren’t you? Well… {Mom/Dad} will make sure to wake you up early, but we don’t want to go home early because you’re tired, do we?
(Giggle) That’s what I thought. Now close your eyes, and enter the realm of sweet, sweet meditation.
[Kiss on the forehead]
Good night, my little elf.
