Recently watched this video about represantives that want to expand the House.

I find the way they want to do it wrong.

Here's my proposal:
We indeed expand the house to 3,400 members thus making the ratio back to 100,000 people per represantive as the founding fathers wanted BUT we also create roman comitias meaning public voting houses where the people belonging to each of the representative district gets to vote YES or NO on their OWN representative. Meaning that the representative in congress has to vote on a legislation based on what the people of the assembly told them.

The romans made the mistake that the voting was yes or no on the WHOLE legislation, not in the individual senator voting tally.

Example:

The 3,400 representatives convene in congress. Someone introduces legislation and discusses the argument just like now. Then the representatives vote to pass down the argument to the people, to us. Then people go to their respective voting center and vote on what they want their represantive to vote on the actual voting day. Meaning that the representative has to say yes or no based on what the majority of the people on that district said.
Then voting day comes, the new legislation is read, then each representative votes not based on what they individually want but based on what the people in the district TOLD him to vote on.

The senate is not abolished. The senate job is changed to a very important job in this new model. The senate only job is to analyze and change the MAP of the representatives district to prevent Gerrymandering. Every 2 or 3 years the maps are changed and updated so that either because of people moving around, or states individual actions and so on...the senate holds the authority to update and change the map to prevent Gerrymandering.

The obvious new additions: People who are members of the democratic and republican parties for a set number of years (debatable how many years) get to vote on who the candidate for the representative election gets to be, NOT THE CORRUPT PARTY ITSELF. I think this is sadly the case in america is that we dont get to even elect who the democrat or republican candidate will be, someone from the party headquarters essentially tells us who that is. I find that VERY wrong.

Additionally we limit career politicians from ever taking power by introducing three terms of 2 years each for house representatives and 1 term only of 6 years for senator. Plus anyone aged 75 or above has to take standard IQ tests to become elected

Its time to reinstate the roman comitia. My proposal to solve the american democracy
