Everyone knows him. He's the golden boy, the pride of the college football team, the face of the batch. Smart, cocky, full of himself, and somehow manages to look good while doing it, too. He spends all his time in the limelight, and seems to enjoy every moment of it. All the boys respect him. All the girls want to get in his pants, and he's not really stopping them either. He has no interest in commitment, and no shame in sleeping around. The only rule he won't break is stealing someone else's girl, because it's too much work...and why go to that length when you don't have to?

No one knows her. She's quiet, unassuming, clever but someone who really would rather just be left to her own devices. She aces every course she takes and gets straight As but flies completely under the radar, never wanting to be in the spotlight. She has a small clique of friends whose company she enjoys and doesn't really care to explore. She's very attractive but dresses down deliberately, because why give people a reason to stare? She's in a committed relationship and she's happy with her boyfriend, who is perfectly lovely. And she has zero tolerance for peacocking.

But they're assigned to work with together in a group project. He finds her terribly droll but needs a good grade. She tells herself it's an ordeal she has to get through for her love of the subject. But they both silently agree on one thing — one semester, and it's over. No more having to study endlessly for him, no more putting up with shenanigans for her. They can go back to living their lives as they did before.

So why, then, does it feel less and less like what either of them want as the semester drags on?

Why does it feel like she's seeing him like no one ever has? His roguish charm gives way to slowly reveal hints of what lies beneath — someone thoughtful, funny and surprisingly sensitive. He seems to care a surprising amount for someone who pretends not to care at all, going to increasing lengths to make sure their work on the project is a success. He drags her out of her shell, slowly pushing her out of her comfort zone, getting her to try new things. It doesn't hurt that he's devastatingly handsome and a massive flirt, of course. And she finds herself thinking that maybe she's overdue to have some fun in college...

And why does it feel like he's never found someone so thoroughly engaging before? He finds himself enjoying the subject and the time spent studying together. He sees what she doesn't care for anyone to see — someone kind, caring and wickedly smart, an intellect hidden away because she doesn't want to live in the public eye. He finds himself craving a close-knit group of friends he can play DnD with instead of partying away the night with a few hundred strangers. It doesn't hurt that her winsome smile and beautiful eyes have him captivated, of course. And he finds himself wondering if quiet is just what the doctor ordered...

Hi there! This prompt is one of my favorite tropes come to life, and it involves a rather romantic premise with no small amount of character development. For this, I'm primarily looking for a story-driven roleplay with a lot of sexual tension and chemistry before the ultimate payoff. So this is definitely a slow-burn in terms of the main plot. However, depending on how comfortable you are with writing scenes that are not necessarily "advancing" the plot (this is not needed at all and is just a nice thing we could do), I could also see us writing a little smut between our two characters and their other partners early on!

Oh, speaking of which, our characters. I will play exclusively male characters in this RP and I am looking for someone to play exclusively female characters. Most of our focus will be on the aforementioned him and her, with some scenes written to show their individual perspectives with other characters. I have deliberately left their names and appearances vague, because I want to come up with something we can both find pleasing! I've also considered this as being possibly modern/urban fantasy, so we could totally do werewolf/vampire/insert other fun idea here if that is something you might be interested in.

In terms of how I want this to play out — I want to show them falling for each other over the course of the semester. There will be delicious drama in the form of his many affairs and her rather attached boyfriend, of course. But I am a sucker for a good resolution, and one of my aims here is to show them both growing to love the best parts of each other while simultaneously pushing to constantly become better. I am open to any path we take to reach there as long as there is meaningful growth for both our characters! Any ideas you may have regarding this are also welcome.

Yes, there will still be smut, of course. I anticipate the ratio skewing in favor of story especially initially, but I would love to depict a passionate, loving relationship with some hot, steamy lovemaking. Bonus points if you're into rough sex, risky sex, lots of dirty talk with cuddles after. I don't mind a more vanilla angle on sex as well, but preferably they're kinky and willing to mess around a lot in the bedroom! I have a more detailed kink list I can furnish if need be. Limits are toilet stuff, gore, hard BDSM.
